Abstract
Six-axial swan-neck robots offer considerable flexibility in conjuncti
on with complex insertion and demoulding tasks at injection moulding m
achines. Manufacture of a two-component part targeted for automobile a
ir conditioning units illustrates the benefits of automation. Apart fr
om improving the process reliability automation also allows the integr
ation of various secondary processes.
