Abstract
A finite difference scheme is proposed for solving the initial-boundar y value problem of the Maxwell-Bloch equations. Its numerical solution s preserve some properties of the true solution. The numerical experim ents are presented. Finally the stability and convergence are proved s trictly. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
