Abstract
This article focuses on the utilisation of the Case-Based Reasoning pa radigm for solving problems concerned with diagnosis and decision supp ort, After a brief overview, the pros and cons of CBR for diagnostic p urposes will be discussed. Finally, a section on prototypical and fiel ded applications will demonstrate the applicability of the paradigm.
