Abstract
A detailed study of the specular peak shape evolution with the Ag(110) surface temperature is presented. Time-of-flight measurements were pe rformed along [1(1) over bar0$] and in the out-of-phase scattering con dition to complete a previous work carried out in the [001] direction. In particular, the effect of inelasticity on the roughening temperatu re evaluation is critically discussed.
