Abstract
Octreotide is a synthetic analogue of somatostatin with therapeutic ap plications in a variety of endocrine and gastrointestinal disorders, W e report a patient with acromegaly who developed acute hepatocellular liver injury after receiving two 0.1-mg doses of octreotide, The drug causality was confirmed by rechallenge. To our knowledge this is the s econd reported case in the literature.
