Ninety-six succulent plants that occur naturalized in Australia are li
sted together with analyses of their geographical origin and naturaliz
ation status. The majority of naturalized species originate from south
ern Africa or the Americas and belong to the Cactaceae and Crassulacea
e. 62.5% are classified as ''adventive'' and 37.5% as ''established'',
with most originating from garden escapes.
