Abstract
We report the first all solid-state dye sensitized TiO2 photoelectroch emical cell with polymer solid electrolyte. Oligoethylene glycol metha crylate was used as a polymer solid electrolyte. Ethylene glycol and l ithium iodide were added to it to enhance the performance. In order to make a tight contact with the TiO2 porous film, the polymer solid ele ctrolyte was prepared by radical polymerization after immersing the po rous film in the monomer solution. This polymer electrolyte junction c ell shows continuous photocurrent. The conversion efficiency of the ce ll was 0.49% for irradiation of 1000 W/m(2).
