Abstract
The possibility of Wigner crystallization of electrons in an amorphous insulator with a high trap density is discussed. A new exhange intera ction mechanism is proposed, based on resonance tunneling of electrons between unfilled localized electronic states. (C) 1996 American Insti tute of Physics.
