Abstract
Numerical and experimental evidence indicates that an extraordinarily polarized Gaussian beam, after passing through a BaTiO3:Ce crystal wit h an externally applied electric field, on show spatial modulation and self-focusing in the plane of extraordinary polarization. The numeric al and experimental results show remarkable agreement with each other.
