Abstract
Over the last few decades two new modalities of treatment have been ad ded to the therapy of cerebral arteriovenous malformations: stereotact ic radiosurgery and angiographic embolisation. The aim of this review is to discuss surgery and the newer modalities of treatment with parti cular reference to an integrated multimodal approach to therapy. (C) P earson Professional 1996
