By using numerical simulations, we investigate the dynamics of a quant
um system of interacting bosons. We find an increase of properly defin
ed mixing properties when the number of particles increases at constan
t density or the interaction strength drives the system away from inte
grability. A correspondence with the dynamical chaoticity of an associ
ated c-number system is then used to infer properties of the quantum s
ystem in the thermodynamic limit.
