Abstract
Correlations among protons and neutral pions emitted in the reaction A r-36+Al-27 at 95 MeV/nucleon have been studied. The analysis of the (p i(0)-p) invariant-mass and relative-angle distributions shows evidence s of Delta(1232)-resonance excitation. The experimental data are in ag reement with the predictions of microscopic theoretical calculations.
