Ml. Pearse et Js. Brennan, IMPORTANCE OF ABSOLUTE-HUMIDITY IN THE OPERATION OF THE ELECTROSTATICDETECTION APPARATUS, Forensic science international, 83(2), 1996, pp. 121-131
Data are presented which demonstrate that absolute humidity, not relat
ive humidity, is of primary importance in the development of latent pr
essure patterns using the Electrostatic Detection Apparatus (ESDA). Th
e data show the importance of document humidification for the optimal
development of latent pressure patterns using the ESDA.
