Abstract
Data are presented which demonstrate that absolute humidity, not relat ive humidity, is of primary importance in the development of latent pr essure patterns using the Electrostatic Detection Apparatus (ESDA). Th e data show the importance of document humidification for the optimal development of latent pressure patterns using the ESDA.
