Abstract
This article presents a study of the organic modification of Tunisian clay materials in order to use them as theologic additives (the benton e) in paints, The chosen modifier is the dialcoyl-dimethyl ammonium ch loride (DADMAC). The obtained results show that the Tunisian bentonite s have satisfactory theologic characteristics and may be used advantag eously for preparing the bentone.
