W. Raith et al., INTERFERENCE EFFECTS BETWEEN ELECTRON-EXCHANGE AND THE SPIN-ORBIT INTERACTION, Canadian journal of physics, 74(11-12), 1996, pp. 883-888
In accordance with predictions made in 1974, recent measurements demon
strated that the elastic e-Cs scattering is richer in physics than a s
imple addition of Mott scattering and nonrelativistic exchange would p
rovide. Now it is time to take a closer look at the general analysis o
f Burke and Mitchell and think about further experiments that will sti
mulate improvements in calculations and lead to a deeper understanding
of the underlying physics.
