Abstract
The present study reveals that out of ten effluents tested, two were m utagenic (E8 and E10) and five were toxic (E3, E4, E6, E7 and E9). The trace analysis of effluents reveal that effluents, which were mutagen ic, had Acid Black I and Congo Red dyes.
