Sv. Borisov et En. Ipatova, ANALYSIS OF THE ARRANGEMENTS OF 2 ATOMIC VARIETIES AND AN ALGORITHM FOR DERIVING PLANAR CENTERED CELLS FOR 3(6)-NETS, Journal of structural chemistry, 37(3), 1996, pp. 452-457
An algorithm for obtaining and calculating the arrangements of two ato
mic varieties in a one-dimensional periodic row is suggested. An algor
ithm for deriving planar centered cells an a regular trigonal 3(6) net
that reduces two-dimensional cells to one-dimensional rows is develop
ed. In most cases, centered three-dimensional cells may be reduced to
two-dimensional cells; this facilitates analysis and comparison of str
uctures. Variants of periodicity ''degeneration'' for one-, two-, and
three-dimensional cases are analyzed. Reduced planar centered cells fo
r n = 2-12 (n is the number of sires in the cell) are described.
