Abstract
(Z)-1-Alkylseiena-1-alkyl(or alkyl)alk-1-enes have been prepared via t he hydroboration of alkylselenaacetylenes and their conversion into al kylselenavinylic copper compounds followed by their cross-coupling or cross-coupling directly with alkyl halides.
