Po. Dunstan, THERMOCHEMISTRY OF ADDUCTS OF ARSENIC TRIHALIDES WITH SATURATED HETEROCYCLIC BASES, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 41(6), 1996, pp. 1450-1454
The adducts AsX(3) . nL (where L is piperazine (Pipz), morpholine (Mor
ph), or piperidine (Pipd); X is Cl, Br, or I; and n is 1, 3/2, or 2) h
ave been synthesized and characterized by melting points, elemental an
alysis, thermal studies, and infrared spectroscopy. By means of calori
metric measurements in solution, the mean standard enthalpies of the a
rsenic-nitrogen bonds were determined as well as the values of other t
hermochemical parameters of the adducts.
