Abstract
The data of the study of the lyotropic mesomorphism of several anionic , hydrophobic phthalocyanine and anionic porphyrin derivatives as well as of related metal complexes, obtained in our laboratory, have been summarised. The influence of structural changes of these compounds on the lyomesophase formation is discussed.
