Abstract
Multiple measures of fear of spiders were acquired during in vivo test s once before and several times after 7 subjects were exposed to an ex perimental rendition of eye-movement desensitization. The pre- and pos ttreatment measures were compared with corresponding measures acquired from 7 other subjects once before and several times after a concurren t no-treatment interval. There was no evidence from the in vivo tests that eye-movement desensitization affected fear of spiders. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
