V. Lopac et al., LEVEL DENSITY-FLUCTUATIONS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF CHAOS IN THE REALISTIC MODEL SPECTRA FOR ODD-ODD NUCLEI, ZEITSCHRIFT FUR PHYSIK A-HADRONS AND NUCLEI, 356(2), 1996, pp. 113-118
Statistical properties of the realistic energy spectra of the odd-odd
nuclei Ag-106, Au-198, Cs-134, K-40 and Rb-94, calculated within the I
nteracting Boson Fermion Fermion Model, an investigated by means of th
e Delta(3) statistics and the Nearest Neighbor Spacing Distribution me
thod. New probability distribution function, which describes well the
calculated results and enables the characterization of chaos with a ph
ysically meaningfull parameter, is proposed. Level spacing fluctuation
s of the examined nuclei exhibit the transitional behavior between Poi
sson and GOE limits, revealing different degrees of chaoticity in thei
r dynamics.
