Abstract
This paper deals with optimization problem of initial functions and op timality conditions for retarded functional equations for the given co st functions. Under ensuring the regularity of solution of the retarde d system we proceed to necessary optimality condition of the optimal s olution for cost function J in set of a admissible controls that is cl osed and convex.
