Abstract
Cases of chromoblastomycosis have been reported in immunocompromised p atients, However, chromoblastomycosis is rarely caused by Exophiala je anselmei. While this organism has been reported to induce pheohyphomyc osis in a recipient of a cardiac transplant, chromoblastomycosis has n ot been described. We present a case of chromoblastomycosis caused by Exophiala jeanselmei in a patient who had received a cardiac transplan t.
