Using a Monte Carlo method, a numerical computing of the scatterring b
y a set of spheres is made. The spheres are randomly distributed in a
half space The aim of the study is to justify or to reject the assumpt
ions which could be supposed to interpret the experimental results of
specular reflectivity of cermets. Cermets are metallic clusters embedd
ed in ceramic matrix. The extrapolation of numerical results allows us
to think that layers of cermet behave like homogeneous stacks in firs
t approximation.
