Abstract
Water soluble complexes of C-60 have been prepared on solid-state mech ano-chemical reaction between C-60 and tertiary amines (hexamine, DABC O) at room temperature (25 degrees C). The product is characterized by x-ray diffraction and FTIR methods. It is presumably due to the charg e transfer interactions between electron affinic C-60 and electron ric h tertiary amines.
