Abstract
The most important consumer of PUR is the furniture industry, followed
by the transport sector the building industry and refrigerator manufa
cturers. Flexible foams make up the biggest proportion of PUR consumpt
ion by far. There are no big advances to come in PUR chemistry. Innova
tions are rather in detail or in technology.
