Abstract
For a compromised design of microstrip-slotline transitions with multi -arm stubs, the relation between the number of arms and the bandwidth is necessary, This issue is examined using a modelling technique based on the equivalent circuit of the transition. The technique is used to analyse two broadband (1-10GHz and 5-50GHz) transitions with stubs ha ving different number of arms.
