The optical phonon modes of InAs1-xSbx/InAs strained-layer superlattic
es with x in the range between 0.14 and 0.39 have been studied by Rama
n scattering. The observed frequencies of the InAs LO mode ag;ee;Yell
with the strain-induced shifts calculated for the InAs layers assuming
free-standing conditions. The high quality of the superlattices allow
s us to observe the InAs-like mode of the alloy. Another peak, whose i
ntensity is dependent on the excitation wavelength, is observed betwee
n the InAs LO and TO energies and assigned to interface modes.
