Abstract
Endopelvic fascia contributes to the support of the uterus and vagina. There is increasing evidence that alteration in the fascial extracell ular matrix may lead to weakening of the fascia and development of pro lapse, Other workers have identified discrete defects in endopelvic fa scia that can be rectified to cure prolapse, This paper reviews fascia l defects and their repair.
