Abstract
Virilization occurring in the postmenopausal woman may be either adren al or ovarian in origin. We describe the case of a 74-year-old postmen opausal woman with severe virilization and a serum testosterone level elevated into the male range who was found to have a non-malignant aet iology for her condition.
