Abstract
Free field representations of the affine superalgebra A(1,0)((1)) at l evel k corresponding to two inequivalent choices of the simple roots a re shown to be related by nonlinear canonical field transformations, b oth at the classical and at the quantum level. The ambiguity in the ch oice of the Wakimoto module needed in the description of physical stat es in the noncritical N = 2 string is therefore lifted.
