Vl. Budovich et al., DEVELOPMENT OF PHOTOIONIZATION DETECTION ON THE BASIS OF RADIATION SOURCES WITH INCREASED SELECTIVITY, Journal of analytical chemistry, 51(11), 1996, pp. 1064-1068
The use of new ionization sources in photoionization detectors improve
s the detection selectivity for a number of substances without increas
ing the detection limits. The employment of H/CaF2 and H/BaF2 lamps in
photoionization detectors along with universal Kr/MgF2 and H/MgF2 lam
ps provides a realistic basis for solving the problem of substance ide
ntification.
