J. Garciaojalvo et al., REENTRANT TRANSITION INDUCED BY MULTIPLICATIVE NOISE IN THE TIME-DEPENDENT GINZBURG-LANDAU MODEL, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 54(6), 1996, pp. 6918-6921
An effect of multiplicative noise in the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landa
u model is reported, namely, that noise at a relatively low intensity
induces a phase transition towards an ordered state, whereas strong no
ise plays a destructive role, driving the system back to its disordere
d state through a reentrant phase transition. The phase diagram is cal
culated analytically using a mean-field,theory and a more sophisticate
d approach and is compared with the results from extensive numerical s
imulations.
