Abstract
The radiation-induced ageing of poly(methyl methacrylate) in the prese nce of luminescent additives (1,1,3-trimethyl-3-phenylindane, p-terphe nyl, and 1,4-di-[2-(5-phenyloxazolyl)]-benzene) was investigated. The radioprotective properties of these luminophores were revealed. The pr otective effect was shown to be synergistic.
