Abstract
The stability of the three-dimensional network of radiation-grafted fi lms of polyethylene with acrylic acid in the hydrogen and zinc forms w as studied by thermomechanical testing at 293-673 K and pressure 0.2-5 .0 MPa. For both zinc and hydrogen forms of the copolymer, the phenome non of lability of the three-dimensional network was observed, which c onsisted in its reversible degradation under a pressure above the crit ical value. The physical nature of the spatial structure sites in thes e copolymers is discussed.
