Abstract
This paper introduces new prospects for the analysis of white-space re sponses in the Rorschach ink-blot test. The concept of <<ego-skin>> de scribed by D. Anzieu in reference to the reversal concept can give a p rocedure for the elaboration of the white-space response and contents. The concept of ego-skin can be used as model to conceptualize some ps ychopathological expressions in the white-space responses. Clinical co nfigurations are presented, in reference to the theory of psychic enve lopes : strainer ego-skin, adhesive ego-skin and containing, ego-skin. These configurations describe the structural movements in the constit ution of the psychic envelope and its pathological forms.
