Abstract
Three new dinuclear tin complexes, [Me(2)Sn(2-OC6H4CH=NCH{Pr-i}COO)]Sn Me(2)Cl(2) (1), [Me(2)Sn(2-OC10H6CH=NCH2COO)]SnMe(2)Cl(2) (2) and [Ph( 2)Sn(2-OC10H6CH=NCH2COO)]SnPh(2)Cl(2) (3), were prepared and character ized by spectroscopic studies and elemental analyses as a 1:1 adduct b etween diorganotin dichloride (acceptor) and bicycloazastannoxide (don or). A full X-ray crystal structure analysis was performed on 3 and th e results confirmed that the donor and the acceptor moieties of 3 are bonded with an Sn-O bond distance of 2.307 Angstrom.
