Switching Mode Limit-Cycle Resonant Oscillators constitute a distinct
and useful class of systems in the field of oscillators. Previous work
s have described the oscillatory processes of such systems as being cl
osely similar to those of other limit-cycle oscillators. The present p
aper shows analytically, and demonstrates by way of simulation, that t
he dynamic behaviour of such systems at relaxation is unique. A compre
hensive comparative analysis of the presently less known systems and t
he relatively similar well known Rayleigh oscillator and other related
oscillators is carried out by relying on numerical simulation work. C
