PHOTOAMINATION DIRECTED TOWARD THE SYNTHESIS OF HETEROCYCLIC-COMPOUNDS

This paper reviews the recent author's studies on the photoamination v ia electron transfer which were applied to the introduction of the ami no group to C-C double bonds of several kinds of the substrates involv ing arenes, stilbenes, and benzo[a,d]cycloalkenes. The aminated produc ts were used as the precursors for the synthesis of the heterocyclic c ompounds involving benzylisoquinolines, aporphines, isopavines, dibenz o[a,d]cycloheptenimines, and oxazepines.
