Abstract
New triphosphate derivatives of carbocyclic nucleoside analogues have been synthesized and shown to be potent substrates for terminal deoxyn ucleotidyltransferase and/or HIV reverse transcriptase; the compounds are stable to dephosphorylation with human placental alkaline phosphat ase.
