Abstract
The contributions of horizontal-gauge-boson exchanges to the mass diff erence of neutral mesons are considered in the model of horizontal uni fication. It is shown that horizontal interaction may contribute signi ficantly to the transitions <(K)over bar (0)>reversible arrow K-0 and <(D)over bar (0)>reversible arrow D-0. The possible versions of the sc alar sector of the model are constrained on the basis of available exp erimental data.
