G. Bonelli et al., LOW-FREQUENCY OBSERVATIONS OF THE COSMIC MICROWAVE BACKGROUND-RADIATION - THE CAMPO-IMPERATORE EXPERIMENT, Astrophysical letters & communications, 32(1-6), 1995, pp. 15-20
The detection of distortions from a pure blackbody in the frequency di
stribution of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation is potentially
very important for understanding the thermal evolution of the Univers
e. in this work we describe the status of the Campo Imperatore experim
ent, which involves radiometers operating at 600, 820 and 2500 MHz and
we discuss the calibration strategy we use.
