D. Saez et al., EFFECTS OF GREAT ATTRACTOR-LIKE OBJECTS ON THE COSMIC MICROWAVE BACKGROUND, Astrophysical letters & communications, 32(1-6), 1995, pp. 75-80
A significant contribution to the large scale anisotropy of the cosmic
microwave background is predicted. This contribution is the effect of
Great Attractor-like structures located between the observer and his
last scattering surface. This effect is only relevant in open backgrou
nds having a density parameter smaller than 0.5. Computations are base
d on the Tolman-Bondi solution of the Einstein equations.
