Abstract
The Weighted Order Statistic Filters (WOSF) are useful tools in digita l signal processing. Their standard representation is not canonical, w hich is a major drawback in comparison or design issues. A new represe ntation is proposed, which is based on the statistical study of the WO SF. Efficient conversion algorithms are presented. This representation is of interest for analyzing, comparing and designing WOSF.
