Sb. Sinha et Ka. Elsibai, REFLECTION OF THERMOELASTIC WAVES AT A SOLID HALF-SPACE WITH 2 RELAXATION-TIMES, Journal of thermal stresses, 19(8), 1996, pp. 749-762
The effect of two relaxation times, following Green and Lindsay's theo
ry, on the reflection of thermoelastic waves at a homogeneous, isotrop
ic, and thermally conducting elastic solid half-space is studied. The
results for the partition of the energy for various values of the angl
e of incidence are presented and compared with that of Lord and Shulma
n's theory to show the importance of the second relaxation time.
