J. Pan et al., A BRIEF REVIEW OF STUDIES ON PALEOGEOGRAPHY OF MIDDLE PALEOZOIC VERTEBRATES IN CHINA, Journal of Southeast Asian earth sciences, 13(3-5), 1996, pp. 185-190
New discoveries of Silurian and Devonian vertebrates in China and thei
r palaeogeographical significance are reviewed. The Middle Paleozoic f
ish assemblages of the Tarim basin are similar to those of South China
. Fossil vertebrate evidence shows the appearance of the Chinese platf
orm in Middle Paleozoic and its close relation with East Gondwana at l
east in Early Devonian. Copyright (C) 1996 Published by Elsevier Scien
