Abstract
The present study was aimed to assess the impact of air pollutants fro m the Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. on meiosis in Datura metel L. gr owing at different sites around the factory. Cytological studies in th e pollen mother cells revealed the presence of chromosome breakages, c hromosomal interchanges and spindle abnormalities.
