Abstract
An evaluation model of energy resources in space by using Meadows' wor ld dynamics model (WORLD-3), is proposed for evaluating the effect of developments of Solar Power Satellites (SPS) and the moon resource (he lium 3, He-3) on earth's ecological and economic system. The simulatio n results show that the continuous growth of earth's ecological and ec onomic system can be achieved by the developments of SPS and the moon resource, but, at the present level of development costs, an enormous investment in SPS and the moon resource will be necessary to achieve t his situation. The simulation results also show that with proper inves tment, effective development is possible by simultaneously developing both SPS and the moon resource.
