Abstract
This paper presents new design methods to stabilize a linear system in volving time-varying structured st;lte space uncertainty by means of s tate feedback controller, in which the elements of uncertainty matrix are assumed to be continuous in time and to be individually restricted in the variations. Both the methods are based on eigenvalue assignmen t using Sylvester's equation. In addition, Perron weightings are used to reduce conservatism of the uncertainty tolerance. In order to show the effectiveness, several designs of lateral autopilot of the EMRAAT missile are presented.
